Let The Selfless Energy Of Your Good Heart Radiate Love

Good Heart Matters #4

The selfless energy of a good heart that radiates love can go a super long way to heal another’s heart, mind and body…

One of my reader’s comment from my last Good Heart Matters #3 article has resonated so well with the recent situation I am experiencing.

“If each day, we could get up with a good heart attitude to cherish others, the heart will radiate love that shines the light of joy to the unhappy ones, the light of hope to those feeling helpless, the light of peace to those needing peace..”

It has been an incredibly eventful past two weeks filled with fear and anxiety; peace and gratitude; sadness and joy; as I journeyed through the healing and recovery process of a very close family member G who was badly injured in an accident.

While I cannot be there for G, given he is in Australia and I am in Singapore, I must say that these past two weeks, I certainly have witnessed the power of a good heart attitude and deep love.

Good Heart Matters

1. G’s filial piety is very strong and since the accident, he has been more concerned about his parents’ worries over his injury than his own. He would call them each day with a good caring heart and spirit to bring them light of peace instead of worries.

2. In my daily video call with G, he would always brighten up whenever he talked about the 3 home cooked meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) he had daily while in the hospital. Nutritious food cooked with caring love and selfless energy by family members has certainly helped bring light of joy to an unhappy situation.

3. Of course there were days when G would feel helpless with his temporary ‘handicap’ due to a cast hand and leg, but he would very quickly get over it and cheer up with a light of hope, knowing he is being surrounded by love and support from his loved ones.

10 days after a very successful operation, G practiced writing and wrote “I love all” in good spirit. (Notice he is left handed and it is this good hand that has been injured)

The words written just came out so naturally from the most unexpected person G who is usually not very expressive…the care and love of loved ones around him, both local in Australia and overseas, must have so deeply touched him to so unreservedly express them here.

A Positive Mind And A Grateful Heart

I am so inspired by G’s strength and positivity throughout this entire situation. Despite his own misfortune, he always carries a good caring heart attitude towards others, and has never failed to smile every single day since his accident.

His attitude in learning to see the good in the bad; the mindset in turning negative feelings into positive ones; the experience of deep family bond and caring love;
and most important of all the Divine Love and Intervention with a miracle…G has repeatedly expressed his gratitude for the miraculous good outcome in a very bad situation.

May he be blessed with a complete recovery and may he enjoy each brand new day with a good heart attitude that can bring joy, peace, hope and love to both himself and others.

Going through a high fall and surgery is a tough challenge for G yet he brighten up everyone with positive altitude and grateful heart. I admire G handles his recent situation with such great courage and he is definitely a fighter. G is very blessed so much care from his family especially his selfless, caring good heart sister. May great prayers, caring and loving thoughts are with G as he recovers and back to his joyful life.

A good heart is a big heart… And always good to be reminded to care for others but also yourself as one never knows when the tide turns.

Absolutely, that balance of caring for others and self is crucial.. we are all at a different level of balance and a good start would be to know oneself and where one stand in that scale. Thank you so much Yam for sharing your thoughts.
